Brown Label was founded in October of 2004 by designer Jason Verhoeven and his wife Denise Verhoeven, whose goal is to create a Men’s and Women’s collection that would capture the interest of the consumers from around the world, offering the right mixture of innovative designs in modern classic silhouettes.
Nurv worked closely with Brown Labels founders Jason and Denise Verhoeven to create an online identity that would instill the labels brand identity. Through careful articulation using patterns and colors found on the actual clothing we started the designs. The outcome was a rich "modern yet classic" web presence.
One of the issues facing the design of Brown Labels website was that we had to show off the designs without giving ideas away to other clothing designers to steal. Nurv achieved this by creating small images of the clothing and created a fun navigation that is on a clothing line.
For Brown Labels store locater Nurv programed a sophisticated flash database that allows shoppers to find a store by state.
